Restaurant Week for drinking is back. Today through Nov. 23, more than 55 area restaurants and bars are offering special cocktail and food pairings as part of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington's D.C. Cocktail Week promotion.

This is the second year of D.C. Cocktail Week, but the first year that's focused on cocktail and food pairings. Barmini, for example, will offer a milk punch paired with a banana panini for $16, while Room 11 has a scotch, cider, and rosemary cocktail served with a chicken liver moose for $13. Check out descriptions of all the pairings at ramw.org/dc-cocktail-week.

Instagram a photo of your cocktail and paired bite from any of the participating establishments with the hashtag #dccocktailweek for the chance to win prizes. Every day, RAMW will select one winner at random. Prizes include movie tickets, restaurant gift certificates, home delivery of two 10 pound lobsters, and tickets to Washington City Paper's Bacon & Bourbon festival this Wednesday. (City Paper is a partner in the promotion.)
