Tweetaholic José Andrés has used his Twitter account—with 251,000 followers—to share photos of his world travels, share news of becoming a U.S. citizen, and call out restaurant critics he thinks are unfair. Apparently, he's done with that. The chef sent what he said will be his last personal tweet this afternoon, although his account will remain open.
Y&H followed up with Andrés spokeswoman Maru Valdes to see if he's actually serious about giving up his personal tweets. Her response? "We have nothing else to share on that tweet…"
At least we'll still have Andrés parody Twitter account, @nowayjoseandres.
Is no more competition! #stayclassy @jsidman @chefjoseandres
