Buzzed-about New York-style bagel-maker Bullfrog Bagels is set to open a second outpost near Eastern Market at 317 7th St. SE in September.

Founder Jeremiah Cohen says the bagel offerings will be similar to those at his shop inside H Street NE's Star & Shamrock, which opened in September following a number of very popular pop-ups. Something new to look forward to: limited brunch and supper menus. Cohen plans to serve pastrami-filled soup dumplings and "Jewish ramen" with "double strength chicken broth."

Bullfrog Bagels will also continue its wholesale operations out of Mess Hall.
