Check Out the Approved Liquor Labels For District Distilling Company

D.C.'s first distillery pub, District Distilling Company, is gearing up to open at 14th and U Streets NW mid-summer.

Details are still scarce about the 8,000-square-foot hybrid restaurant, bar, and distillery. But liquor labels submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau reveal a little bit about the distillery's potential booze line-up. So far, District Distilling has had labels for three products approved: Checkerbark American Dry Gin, Backroom Bourbon, and Corridor Vodka.

Although the names, products, and text could still potentially change, take a look at the approved labels and their descriptions below:

"Find your spirit on a cluttered shelf, Checkerbark—a bold London-style dry gin. Featuring a uniquely American juniper, bright pine flavors, and citrusy herbal notes, Checkerbark is a toast to all those with thick skin and plenty of bite."

backroom

"Our bourbon is a celebration of where things come together. An agreement forged between our distillers and the best barrels in the land. The result is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys with notes of vanilla, caramel and rye spice. The classic spirit makes any occasion something worth savoring."

corridor

"In a city tasked with tough decisions, we've crafted an easy choice. Corridor, the full-bodied vodka uniting patrons from every point of view. Distilled from rye and barley in the District's most spirited neighborhood, Corridor is crisp and clean for an experience as smooth as the company it keeps."
