Not all chairs are created equal. As custom furniture becomes increasingly popular in D.C.’s restaurants and bars, some places are taking a more whimsical approach to their booths and barstools. Here are six one-of-a-kind seats in the area.

Founding Farmers in Tysons Corner has three circular “bedroom booths” framed by canopy curtains in the boudoir-inspired section of its dining room.
