This video from madscienti11 showcases the Confectionary Cannon, a marshmallow cannon constructed by four engineering students from Olin College in Needham, Mass. as part of their Principles of Engineering course.
What's even more impressive is that, in three months -- using only a $250 budget -- these students created, built, and programmed the cannon using Python and OpenCV, which enables the instrument to track and aim at faces.
That's right: it's a face tracking marshmallow cannon.
Talk about a new party trick. Seriously.
