CBS New York reports that the unidentified victim walked down the street and into the restaurant on Tuesday morning, according to witnesses.

“I heard everybody screaming and it was a lot of commotion,” witness Tromaine Yancey told CBS New York. “The guy came and he was standing there with a knife in his back and it was a kitchen knife.”

WABC spoke to a witness who said the man was talking on the phone, apparently saying what he thought were his last goodbyes.

Cops told PIX11 that the man was involved in a dispute with two men minutes before entering the McDonald’s. The suspects are still at-large.

The 50-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital where he is in serious condition.
