Gina Naomi Baez’s ‘Cupcakes’ Is The New ‘Friday,’ So Enjoy The Sprinkles On Top

Here is songwriting at its finest: "Give me one of those cupcakes / Give me one of those cupcakes / With the sprinkles on top / With the sprinkles on top / With the sprinkles on top / Give me one of those cupcakes / Give me one of those cupcakes / With the sprinkles on top / With the sprinkles on top / With the sprinkles on top."

That chorus hails from "Cupcakes" (what else?), the new song written by Patrice Wilson, the mastermind behind Rebecca Black's "Friday," Nicole Westbrook's "It's Thanksgiving" and Alison Gold's "Chinese Food." With "Cupcakes," we can add Gina Naomi Baez's efforts to the list of absurd bubblegum songs to grab the Internet's attention. You may remember Baez from her "Let It Go" cover, which made the viral rounds in January. It, too, featured Tinkerbelle The Dog, because you can't make a song like "Cupcakes" alone.

That's really all we can say because the video speaks for itself. Or at least this screenshot does:
