Here is on the go breakfast recipe. This will certainly charm your little ones and will definitely add some liveliness into your boring breakfast options. This recipe undoubtedly is healthy and tasty. So speed up people.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 egg white
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons zero -calorie sweetener or brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method to prepare:

Take a bowl. Add in wheat flour, brown sugar or the sweetener, some salt, baking powder, a dust of baking soda and the Christmassy cinnamon. Now, take another bowl, beat the eggs in it along with water, milk and yoghurt. Now add this egg batter into bowl 1 which has all the dry ingredients. Keep on beating the 2 different mixtures until you get a fluffy fusion of both the mixtures. Once your batter is ready, take a pan. Heat it well. Brush in some olive oil. As the oil is heated enough, pour your batter into the pan. Do not add much batter as there will be no room for it to expand. A half cup batter is okay to go at a time. After pouring the batter, let it stand for a while and then, change its side. See to it that both the sides are brown enough. Your cushiony round pancakes are ready.

It serves 4 people and the time required to prepare is around 20-30 minutes.

Tip Alert: try a generous pour of honey than a maple syrup on the hot pancakes. It is a combination made in heaven. You simply won’t be able to resist it. And if you want some crunchiness in between a bite of your marvellous pan cake, add some chopped dry fruits like almonds, cashew’s, raisins, or apricot. It not only will be yummy but healthy as well.
